The Infant Program serves ages 6 weeks -18 months. This classroom has a ratio of one teacher to every four infants. There are two staff in this classroom. One Lead teacher and an Assistant Teacher.
This program aims to provide the loving care and gentle stimulation that an infant needs to grow and develop. Flexible scheduling allows each child to eat, sleep or play according to their own natural timetable. Our teachers work with each family to accommodate their child's specific needs.
Diaper changes are done as needed and checked every two hours. Feeding times are done when students need them. As the infant transitions to solid foods, there is a morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack time. Naps occur whenever a student needs one. After a student turns one, they are transitioned from the crib to a napping cot and one nap after lunch.
The infant class enjoys to take walks around the community to explore the outdoors.
